Vision Plan Savings Calculator

Designed for HR professionals, the updated Vision Plan Savings Calculator provides employers with an individualized look at the savings possible for their workforce with a premium vision plan. The interactive tool allows employers to input their company’s workforce demographics—by age, gender and ethnicity—or use pre-populated national averages to determine how many of their employees are likely to have vision-related issues.

Sight on Savings Calculator

Designed for general consumer use, the Sight on Savings Calculator prompts employees to enter their age, gender and ethnicity to help determine their individual risks for developing various vision problems and eye diseases, as well as overall health issues that can be detected through a comprehensive eye exam. The online tool allows employees to see how much they could save—in terms of time, money and sight—by enrolling in and taking full advantage of their company’s vision benefit.

The downloadable Vision Education Kit features tools to help educate employees about the importance of healthy sight and of protecting their eyes daily - whether at work, at home or outdoors - with regular eye exams and sight-enhancing vision wear, available through a vision benefit.

What to Expect: Multicultural Brochure Series

Use these brochures to educate a culturally diverse workforce about their eye health risks and encourage them to take steps to protect their sight for the future. Brochures are available for the general population (adults and children), and for each of the three largest demographic groups (in English, Spanish and Simplified Mandarin).

A recent proclamation by President Barack Obama declared the first week of March as Save Your Vision Week and helped to further drive national attention to the importance of vision care. Through the proclamation, the President encouraged all Americans to take steps to protect their eyesight for the future, such as seeking regular eye exams and wearing UV-blocking eyewear year-round.
